LA School Coffee Cake

So for the last few month my husband has been asking me to make a coffee cake. Like the one they use to make at school. I make it in the past but it has alot of ingredients. I wanted to surprise him with the cake yesterday and everything that could go wrong went wrong.

First I measured all the flower dumped it in the bowl, then I got out the instant dry milk. It was expired since December. So I called up a friend and asked if she thought it would be ok. She said don't use it....But of course my mind was like hell be alright the only thing that could happen would be him having an upset stomach. Moving on, Im adding the baking powder wich asked for 3 tablespoos and 1/4tsp.when I got down to the baking soda I accidently added the same amount as the baking powder...ugh. So at the end of the day I had to go to the store and buy flour because I didt have enough to start over, might as well get some non expired dry milk too!!

I made the cake before we went out to dinner and kept it in the oven so i could surpise him. How about I forgot to give him the cake....lol

Beef & broccoli with

So I was craving something yummy and didn't feel like going anywhere, so this is what I came up with.....I went to Central Market and bought some prime sirloin steak cut thin.I think this meat is really tender and not too chewy. The udon noodles are usually used in soups but I use them in stir frys as well. I sauteed the meat and broccoli along with a little bit of shallots tossed in the udon until the were warmed through and tossed a little teriyaki sauce in it. Good cooked meal in about 15 minutes.

My daughter Gia loves pumpkin seeds. Well instead of me letting her have the whole bag i pourd her some into a smaller bag....this was my end result...

Gia & Zoes 2nd Birthday

So I finally had the twins birthday party over the weekend. It was so much fun seeing my kids have a blast. They loved the bounce house and wayyyy too much candy.

My Twins are 2!!!

This post is a little late, but I want to wish my twins Gia and Zoe a happy 2nd birthday. I have been trying to throw them a party for the last 2 weeks and the weather here in Texas has SUCKED!!! Hopefully I will get to do something for them beofre the month is over....

The Twins are almost 2

So my girls are almost 2!!! Gosh time has really flown by. I love these girls so much. They are so different in so many ways but at the same time the same...Hope that makes sence.Im going to be throwing them a birthday party next weekend and Im getting so STRESSED over it. I really want to do something nice for them.
